In order
to further our understanding of the roots of literature, we are undertaking
a study of the basics of religion, mythology, and philosophy. Using
individual anthologies as a basis, we are branching out to other related
texts to enhance our understanding of these
very
complex subjects, in an attempt to trace the influence of each on literature
as a whole.
We
will address each subject for a period of some weeks before moving on to
the next, and then back to the beginning at the end of the cycle. An updated
schedule will be posted here.
